Good news, if you shop goods that will be directly used for your boat that has not been imported to New Zealand and holds the TIE, you can request your order to be exempt from paying 15% Goods and Service Tax. Please send us your TIE documents, and we will draft you the order without GST. You should always check with Customs New Zealand if you you are eligible.

Absolutely. We offer complete installation kits, that contains all the required parts for the fully working installation.

Unlike the gas appliances, this product does not have to be installed by the certified installer and meet safety inspections. Most of our customers install the units on their own. However, we always recommend the installation to be done by an experienced technician. 95% of problems with functionality are caused by incorrect installation. You will be provided with a detailed manual covering all aspects of the installation. The standard installation process can be done with conventional tools that can be purchased in any general hardware store and does not require any specialist tools.

Finding a professional installer is the least that you should worry about. We are packed with experience and have a broad knowledge in this area. We can also provide contact details from a list of installers across New Zealand. Check out more.

Every product purchased from HEATPORT automatically comes with a standard 12 months warranty coverage through the Consumer Guarantee Act (CGA). Additional Extended Warranty (calculated as +9% of the price of product) extends the coverage up to two years from the purchase date. An extended warranty covers repair or replacement of parts with manufacturing defects or faulty parts where the fault has clearly not been caused by incorrect installation or inappropriate use. We may also supply replacement part(s) directly and provide instructions for replacement. HEATPORT runs its own service centre in New Zealand and holds the physical stock of replacement components and is ready to help resolve any type of issues.

HEATPORT assembles and quality checks not just the installation kits, but also the core heating units. This makes us the only company in New Zealand who produces these types of heating units.
